Default Opinions on blacking out bikes

Hi guys, I'm getting my new apes powder coated either flat or gloss black Monday along with a few other pieces. I have a black denim FXDF, the sheet metal is flat and the frame parts/fork lowers are gloss. The mix looks good in my opinion, so with my new bars should I continue the current looks of frame parts gloss and the tin parts flat? Or as I take parts off flat black them all. What do you guys think all flat, or keep the mix?

Both look good. I like the look of gloss black where there would normally be chrome.

I'm on my 3rd flat black bike. One of the ones I had before was not flat black so I painted. I had one long before you saw as many as you do now, so I guess I am predjudice. More black the better. I do however think you need some things on the bike to contrast to set off the black. Just my humble opinion.

I got a denim fatbob also and I like the contrast. I have been doing mostly gloss black on my parts I have coated and a few flat.

I like frame type parts to be gloss, like the strut covers, forks etc.

problem with gloss powder coating is it shows marks a lot more, you can get then out afterwards with wax, i put satin finish on mine, not flat, not shiny, somewhere in between.

When I powder coated my bars, I chose to have them done in satin finish, so as to match the control switches and black levers.
