What type of Carlinis did u decide on? I like the look of both the flyin apes and gangster apes. But, looking at pictures, I must say I prefer the look of the flyin apes -- I just seem to feel the bike lines look better with the bars curved out (towards the front). Just my opinion though!

 

The EVIL apes come in 10 inch I believe and they look hot on the Street Bobs and Superglides.

i have the 12in flyin apes they are actually 13in and have there risers, i have a 05 wideglide and went with there risers, and also went with the 1.25 in because they looked better with the front, the newer wideglide have bigger front, I get knothing but wow looks i also went with the chrome, but hey we all have different taste also i went with the chrome lite cabels, look kick *** 6 in on clutch

 

Hey Vivid - I'm 6'4" and I have 16" on my bob... I got them powder coated gloss black and I think they look awesome. They are very comfortable as well- perfect positioning! :-)

Hey Vivid - find one of my posts - I listed all of the dimensions of cables, part numbers and whatnot. I'm currently running 16 1 1/4 Wild Chubbies look alikes.. And have plenty of room on the clutch, brake and idle/throttle - Could have gone another 1" or 2.. Anywho..

chi45cken! Good to talk again! You are 6'4" also????? And that is a pic of you???? Wow, you don't look big as me....Lol! Your bike is looking great!! For who asked....I got the gangsta apes in 1.50 16" which I think they are actually 17-18". Carlini does not measure their bars like we would. A good friend has the gangsta apes on his bob but his are 18" the tallest made in a 1.50 gangsta. They are unbelieveably comfortable so I just went with the same thing but the next size down. I will post pics of my black bob when I get them on. You guys all have awesome bikes....I'm trying to catch up!

 

Ok, from all I can tell and have read on the net I believe I need +10 cables. That is also what Hill Country here in Tx. told me yesterday. I thought that was too long but I guess that's gonna do it. Chicken you have +6 cables (found in your old post). These bars are called 16" but I've read they are anywhere from 17 to 18.5. They open at 9am this morning so I will order. I sure thank you guys!!! I need to see this ASAP!! I'm torn between 14' and 16' Flying Apes (Or Gangsters) and torn between Black and Chrome. Also unsure of 1.25 or 1.5. 2010 FXDWG... Dont want any regrets...lol
