Default Fair Trade in value for an 2008 Fat Bob

Any ideas? It has a stage one with V&H Big Radius 2-2 pipes, and about 7700 miles on it. Denim Black.
Looking at trading it on a 2010 Street Glide

just accept the fact that the HD dealers are gonna try and rip you off initially. both on your trade and the price of your Street Glide. Try to sell your FatBob on your own. You'll be way more pleased in the end. I used Kelley Blue Book and NADA price guides when selling my old bike. There is also a website called Black Book for vehicle price guiding. It is a company who sends their employees to a number of auctions each week. they base there prices on what the different vehicles actually sell for at auctions.

NADA lists your bike at $11,216 for low retail. High retail around 13.5K It clearly states that this is not a trade-in value which would be significantly lower.

KBB lists your bike at around $10000 for trade in. My HD dealer said they didn't use KBB as a reference at all. Sell it yourself for more than trade in and a little less than high retail. Someone should be interested.

I concur with HBomb. Also, if you trade it in, you might as well take off any mods and sell them off because mods it's not likely you'll get anything back on them in a trade in.

HBomb is right, they try to make it on both ends.

Check out these sites and use them as a guide only as to the value of the bike. NEVER take their first offer and they will usually offer more if you turn them down. Don't forget the "freebies" with the new bike like some extra chrome. Usually you can get them for somewhere around $400 in add ons on them I have found out without much of a battle. Negotiate the best price first then ask for the extras you want.

KBB has trade value on 08 Fatbob at $10050 I don't think they give much if any for extras.

I agree with the others here, you have to sell it on your own because the stealer wil get you coming and going for sure! That is why they 'r called the stealer!
