Where to find replacement Main Wiring Harness

I would get the part number and start searching dealers and you might find someone who has one. I would try the bigger internet delaers like Zanotti's, Chicago HD, Latus HD, St.Paul HD first. You may have to remove the harness and have a new one made or the one you have rebuilt which is pricey but may be your only resort.

Screw having a new one made. Sean can splice the wires if necessary. He was trying to pull it to change the handlebars and it just would not budge. Well he got into it with a screw driver and then by the end of it all he just cut the wires at the neck and pulled them thru the back. Something was seriously stuck. We didn't have any problem with the other bike. All that is damaged is the front wires near the neck. I just didn't like the idea of splicing wires. I'd rather just have a new harness.
Harley said they have one for an 2003 for $450. YIKES!! Any idea if that would work? Didn't they change things in 2003?

By the way I just bought a 2010 FXWG with the flame paint. It is awesome.
Good luck.

Sean is going to call JP Cycles and see what they have. It's so hard to tell from the pics online. But what he pulled out seems to have a LOT more wires!

Heather tell Sean to go to a West Marine or similar store or on line and get some marine grade heat shrink electrical crimp connectors in the correct wire guage. They are easy to use splicing broken wires (they heat seal with a bic lighter) and will not come apart and will take severe service since they are made for marine use. Then just splice the old harness back together.
