Fairing on a wide glide

All that talk about moving the QD clamps inside the mounting brackets..... forget it -- I just realized mine are on the inside already.
BUT -- I don't see why you couldn't use some longer bolts and spacers to bring the clamps closer together on the inside of the brackets to accommodate the mid-glide front end.
Here are the measurements.
Outside to outside on the brackets is 13 3/16" and center to center on the clamps is 9 5/8":

Could you remove the fork clamps and then take the brackets off and switch sides? If it were possible, it seems that would move the clamps about an inch to an inch and a half closer to the center ... you could move the clamps in even further if you inserted spacers or shims between the clamps and the brackets ....
Just throwing some ideas out there ....

Can't quite tell ... maybe the curvature of the inner fairing wouldn't allow for that ... but, you could always use some long spacers or 'stand offs' to mover the clamps closer to the center for use with mid-glide or I would think even narrow glide forks possibly ....

Mike .... if you pull this off, please be sure and post what spacers/etc. will be needed.
