I could have had a bagger but after many years not riding I chose an '08 Street Bob because I liked its look and the fun factor! And by the way, I've been around the sun 59 times!

Im planning on doing the same. Mud has a great post in the Under 50 bux thread about doing this. Just use aircraft paint stripper to get rid of the powder coat then polish with drill attachment.

73 years young this Dec. I'll always have a Dyna. See very few Dyna's around here, mostly baggers of one variety or another.

I love my dyna, and will never sell it. I will also say that I will have a Street Glide in 3 years as well. The dyna is, as someone already said, the muscle car of bikes. The problem is that the owners of dynas arent really the ones that get into heavily moddong them in a way other than throwong comfort **** on them. Sporty guys are the real hardcore riders. Most all the videos of custom sportys are reallyh wild stuff. Rigid struts loud *** pipes broomstick bars and so on and so on. The dyna threads are check out my new windshiels or what seat is more comfy for "long" 100 mile rides. I mean dont get me wrong, people can do what they want to thier own bike but don't bitch about not seeing dynas at custom bike shows when few people really chop up a dyna.

Well, I am 32 and have logged over 10k miles on my Street Bob. I personally like it and had my choice of bikes when I bought it. I am working on year 2 with this machine. At a recent car/bike show I rode my Street Bob with some buddies on Street Glides and Road Kings and parked. Before I walked out of the parking lot I had people drooling over my bike. I never thought it would draw that kind of attention, but in Southern NC Dynas are popular. The guys looking at my bike were of the seasoned HD type. To me its just my ride. A plain old fashioned motorcycle with no extra garbage.
