OK, Today I started the work to get the bagger transformation done.

I started by taping off the rear fender so I could mount the tailight. Since my fender was already shaved, it made it easy to put the light exactly where I wanted it.

After it was mounted, and the wires run, I mounted the easy brackets

Then the bags. The bags look good in pics, but they came scratched up, and will be going to the body shop to be painted shiny black. I marked out some plates to cut and drill. Right now, the bags are moutned up without the inernal bracing. When the bags are painted, I will have the insides painted as well, as they are raw fiberglass inside.

Anyway, here are some more pics. Looks like I didn't need the new exhaust after all. So, anyone need a pair of Vance and Hines Short Shot Staggered pipes? Never used, still in box....took them out and put them back in. Still brand new.

They are removable, which I like for cleaning and servicing....that said, I PERSONALLY like the bike better with them on, versus off.....so they will always be on from here on out.
