Default Broken Headlight

So I was riding home today when a car kicked up a rock and hit hit me square in the headlight. I didn't realize it was broken until I got home. So I called HD and asked them how much for the replacement glass for it was. They said there was no replacement and I had to buy the whole headlight for $100. I am beside myself that they don't sell the glass for a non-sealed beam headlight. I knew I was getting into the whole HD=$100 joke, but this is ridiculous.

That blows...BUT look at the bright side (no pun intended). There are other alternative lights for under $100 bucks.

True, but the headlight was one of the reasons I bought this bike. I know there are guys who got after market ones for the same money, but the trick is finding the same style as the stock one.

Recently on my trip back from Georgia a garbage truck kicked up a rock and blew out the amber plastic fender tip on my Road King..I was very surprised when they told me it was only $5.00
