I guess I will really show my ignorance, all four of the hex bolts appeared to have back off some??? I snugged them back up but didn't use locktite. I thought I would stop on the way home and purchase a torque wrench and back them out, locktite, and re-torque.

Do bushing wear out if you tighten them up three or four times? I didn't know if they could flatten out or not.

I am all ears if you have any additional suggestions.

Replace the standard nuts with nylok nuts. Tighten them down. They won't loosen.

I ended up backing all four screws out, two had lock nuts two didn't. I replaced all four screws with lock nuts and loctite and retorqued. I guess time will tell.

I'm not sure what's going on here. I haven't used any lock washers or lok-tite on the top clamps bolts and they have never come loose unless I loosen them.

Maybe I'm wrong but there are some things I follow torque spec and some I don't. The top clamp bolts fit into the latter category. I tighten them as much as I can and have never had a problem.
