Dunlop D407 on your street bob?

Ok so Dunlop finally got back to me. For the D407 170/60/17 is NOT a MT, but the other sizes are.
I run the Sportmax Roadsmart 170/60/17. I only got just over a 1000 miles on it so far and my season is at the end. So I can't report mileage just yet, but it is verified as a MT tire.
Here's the email from Dunlop:
"Jaron-
Most of the rear Dunlop/Harley-Davidson D407 tires, but NOT the 170/60R17
78H size, incorporate Multi-Tread (MT) technology, with a tough tread
compound in the center that runs cooler to help provide stability,
excellent traction under braking and long life, and to each side is a
section of lateral-grip compound that enhances traction at higher lean
angles for great grip while cornering. I hope that we are not confusing
anywhere in that message. I checked our catalog for the D407 and it says
Multi-Tread in select sizes. If you find anywhere where we seem to be
mis-leading on that point, please email back to point out specifically to
us, and we will correct it. Thank you.
All of the rear Dunlop Sportmax Roadsmart tires, including the 170/60ZR17
72W size, are MT tires.
Thanks for asking.

Before I bought my NDs I talked to Dunlop tech support on the Sport Max Roadsmart and was told even though it was a MT tire it was intended for a sport bike, had an all around softer compound than the K591 and that I would probably not see any improvement in wear over the K591. Please keep us posted on your experience.
I am trying the Avon Storm 2 ultra MT, in fact it is coming on the little brown truck today, so hopefully I can get some miles on it soon.

Most of the Rear "H-D" tires in "select sizes" are MT which is about 4. No where in my catalog is there any indication of which sizes those are, totally misleading!

For sure I will!! My indy didn't have the METZ and I wanted something closest to matching my front Dunlop E3 since apparently our stock rear is an off size and not so available so I decided to try the Roadsmart. I wrote them back and told them how misleading their web site is, but they haven't got back to me yet of course.
