96 Dyna Rear Fender Alignment Issue
I have a 1996 Dyna Low Rider. I had the bike down to a bare frame to paint and I have been putting it back together. My problem is that the rear tire is not centered with the rear fender. It sits to the right about 3/8 - 1/2 inch. Is this normal for a dyna? I have been searching and have found information on the fatboy's rear fenders not lining up with the rear wheel from the factory. Could someone help me out here. I have been stressing over this for 3 days now. I have done the engine alignment procedure in the service manual and it didn't help. The tire is parallel to the fender all the way down. I can't figure it out please help!![sm=confused06.gif]

RE: 96 Dyna Rear Fender Alignment Issue
Keith B,
Thanks for the reply, but I really don't think that I misplaced or left any spacers out. There is no place for a spacer to fit in. The spacers in the rear wheel that fit into the wheel seals are equal length on both sides. I have looked everything over many many times and can't see anything that would cause it to be out of alignment. Anyone else with a low rider? Is your rear tire aligned with your rear fender?
