Default Turn signals on or off my apes...

Hi guys, I'm getting ready to do a new set of apes and I would like to do everything at once. So Im asking everyones opinion on turn signal placement. I kinda like the idea of keeping them on my apes mainly because not many people do, it seems like most relocate them. I am putting 18" apes on and I am going to flip my mirror to the underside so will I be able to keep the sigs up there as well? If any of you have pics of your apes with the sigs on the bars still could you post em? Thanks guys!

I say off!! I don't like the way they look on the bars. If you plan on internally wiring the apes, I say clean it up as much as possible. But again that's my taste!! Mine are on the forwards!!

Nice and clean!!

take them off, without a doubt.

i was gonna just junk mine, but i figured with pipes that are too loud, bars that are too high, a helmet that isn't DOT...

a turn signal ticket is the last thing i need.

here's what i did...turn sig mirrors from heartland

Toastman those are the mirrors I have been looking for! I was gonna junk the signals but I run Samsons Street Sweepers with no baffels, a non dot helmet and I live in Michigan where our government says no handle bars over 15" from your seat. Jaron I really like that idea, run em low would look sweet!

definitely take them off. I agree with JaronB, on the forwards is the way to go.

You guys who put them on the forward, any issues with the heat from the pipes? Did you use a bracket on the frame?

Just something to consider, flipping your mirrors may not work so good on apes because your arms may block them. Depends on your mirrors, I could not get mine to work right when I had my apes, but they are perfect on my T-bars.
Personally I like the signals on the forks, looks cleaner to me. Personal preference.
