i am thinking of getting the se performance air cleaner. want to see it on the bike though. i wnat the chrome but really like the one in black. if you have a pic of it on your bike, maybe even on my bike post it or send it to me. i have an 11 wide glide in sodona orange with black flames. other option was to just get the screaming eagle upgrade air filter to the stock one.

Here is my Fat Bob with the new Heavy Breather I installed. I went with the black and black cut teardrop cover.

 

more of the oval one. i like the black and chrome one and they are both the same price. i see you went with the chrome one with the black exhaust. i have the chrome exhaust and was thinking of the chrome air cleaner. but then i like the look of the black one.

 

since picking up my wideglide last september--the AC has went through several changes. originally got the stage one SE ac with the VH big shots (with stock chrome cover. purchased a powder coated cover, but really i hated that odd egg- shape of the AC cover and purcahsed a poweder coated black Round backing plate (most of the hardware was the same for me so there was no need to purchase the kit), with a KN round air filter open with powder coated cover (see pic) . Then i purchased a cross bones AC cover, cut back a portion to expose some of the filter, had it powder coated, and put SE insert in middle (see pics)--i like this set up and will leave well enough alone--time to obsess about something else ;-)

I like the contrast cut cover on your heavy breather, but is it just the pictures or does that cover on the filter make it look huge.

 

I noticed the AC does look bigger in the picture than it does in person. also. I like the Heavy Breather it gives the bike a real tough look sticking the side like it does. I had two people ask me today what it was they thought it was a supercharger? I told them that was wrong it was a hyper drive the guy said that made sense the bike must be really fast!
