my guess would be gas leak in the kitchen , the fire dept will figure it out and we'll hear in a few days . very lucky there were no serious injuries . who knows what instinct told you to get out of there early , but keep listening to it

 

As a former fire fighter, I'm sure glad no one was hurt. That's one nasty looking blaze.

 

Or a propane tank letting go. Glad to see it looks like everyone got out OK

Here's the word. A propane tank in a steam table exploded. No one was injured, but the building was a total loss. Local officials praised the bikers for moving their bikes out of the way quickly.

 

Wow! You just never know... Glad everyone and all the bikes got out safely.

Thanks for that link. We didn't know of any accident. We actually had to cut through the campsites to fight our way out of the flames, flying glass from the explosion, and all the traffic that was still trying to come up the hill. We didn't see a single fire truck til we were about 10 miles down the road. Goes to show we need to all follow our intuition.
I hear they went ahead and had the 38 special concert and proceeds went to owners to help rebuild.
