Tombstone taillight. pics

I was thinking of filling the rear fender and using the Martini style lights in the rear fender. They are of the type that you just drill a hole and insert light, then screw on the backside retaining the light. I was going to use 2 so it looks like Vette taillights.

Not too bad, but not a direct bolt on. I had to drill a hole through the frame of the light, in-line with the threaded mounting plate inside the fender. Then just some trial and error with different length bolts to get it just right.

Yes. After removing the stocker, there is a gaping hole left in the fender. However, this Drag Specialties tombstone taillight fit over the hole in the fender perfectly without any bondo or metal work. If it were 1/4 inch (or so) narrower, there would be a gap remaining.

To get it sitting just right (IMO), I mounted it snuggly up under the lower 2 license plate mounting holes. Because of that, I couldn't use my old mounting bracket and I had to make a new one out of chrome tubing spacers.
