Handle bars on SB?

Handle bars on SB?
Well I just installed the exhaust and performed the 1000 miles service on my 2010 Street Bob. I want to install black handle bars and was orginally leaning towards a drag bar set-up but my buddy said the bike is a bobber and it needs ape's. Iam up in the air with what I want on it. I was looking at a set up with 14in apes or even a 16in apes but that might be to much. The bike comes stock with 12in mini apes and iam 5' 11"
What is everyones opinon on drag vs apes on a street bob. I know it is all on what I want to do but I just want to see what others think?
Thanks
Erik

i think they can look good with either. to me, it was a choice made entirely by comfort. apes are much more comfortable on longer rides for me.
and i am 5'11.5"-6'1" depending on who's measuring and if i'm in boots, and I use 16" apes, so i think you could rock 16"s if you wanted.

the street bobs look nasty with ape hangers, I was going to get street slammers but I am glad I went this direction instead. Now I will go with the 21" wheel but I dont know if i want to rake the bike to give it that slick look or just stay with the 29 degree rake.

I think both options look good, both changes the entire perception of the bike. I have always had drags on my former bikes, got the street bob, and i am never going back to drags. (hmm, that felt a bit odd to write...) with dragbars i feel like im sitting on top of the bike, it feels more sporty and you can be more aggresive in the turns. With apehangers itīs more like youre sitting in the bike, and personally i donīt drive the same way with apes = a little slower in highwayspeeds and not so quick in the turns. Apehangers wins both look and comfort if you ask me. But pure driveability goes to the dragbar.
And JaronB, cool setup on the front turnsignals.
