I'm ready to replace my rear tire, too. How much extra labor did the dealer charge you to install the tach? I'm just looking for a baseline when I go in.
I just went back and looked through the receipts, and it turns out it wasn't done at the same time as the tire. Guess my memory is shot.
Installing the speedo was all they did that day, and there is a charge for 1 hr labor.
1 hr = $70 here.

Denimbob08,

Is this the one you are talking about?

It's for 2011 Softtails. I'm not sure why it wouldn't work for the Dyna's. It's the first tach/speedo combo I've REALLY liked looks AND price wise. When my dealer gets some of these in stock, I'm going to ask them if it would work on my fatbob.

It's plug and play. No need to pay the dealer. Start to finish it took me 30 minutes to install mine. Piece of cake.
