Default Auxillary Turn Signal Kit

03 Wideglide

I installed the kit from my dealer which he had in stock. It has red lenses and adds the rear turn signals as brake lights. Very easy to do, but it does not convert the rear turn signals to running lights.

So what happens, my rider buddy got the kit at another dealer which converts to running lights also. Seems this is the new version of the kit. So I call my dealer asking why I didn't get the current kit. I'm told the new kit is an 07 catalog item ( even though the catalog shows it as an 06 item). So I called HD, waited 1 hour on hold, never got to a live person, left a message for callback and a day later still no call back. Boy am I pissed. Dealer also blew me off.

I had the old one last year and bought the new one recently. I sold my old one on here. The dealer should take it as a return if you just purchased it, that is BS.

quick question: on an 06 without the kit "stock" do only the front turn signals act as running lights and the rear turn signals don't light unless using the turn signal? thx, mojo

What was the part number you bought?
The one I purchased was for an 06 Bob
#69462-06. Have had to replace the module twice
in three weeks (great Harley quality control)
Dealer did'nt want to replace it at first until they
realized it was only installed a few weeks the first time
and only 2 days the second time. I'm keeping my fingers
crossed and hoping this one will last. Hope you get a "good" one.
If I had to do it all over again I would purchase the Kury. brand.
By the way Mojo the rear lights are only turn signals wiyhout the
module.

That's kinda strange, cause I had mine installed at the thousand mile service which I think was back in April, way before the 07 catalogs came out , and mine is running lights.

Good Luck

Tom
