What's your point..? Other than you have enough extra cash to take a $5000 - $6000 loss on the trade.

I only took a $2000 loss. But they had a promotion there at the dealer & they gave $1500 off the original price. My payment only went up $80. And they threw in a Tallboy Seat & a Detachable Sissy Bar for free. I'm very happy with the deal I got. I understood before going into it that I was gonna loose a little. It's worth it to me to truly have what I've wanted since I was 12.

Congrats. So long as YOU'RE happy, who cares. Love the Road King myself. If the right deal came along for the right RK, I can't say I wouldn't do the same.

Congrats, so hows it ride compared to the superglide, pics, or are all your posts in the touring section now? Sometimes I think about a bagger but the riding I do, generally a 100-150 mile ride on Saturday or Sunday, on as little superslab as I can manage is ideal for the dyna. I like the hardbags on the RKs, would be nice to have somewhere to put stuff. Lots of dudes around here have RKs with the windshield taken off, real nice looking.

Yeah, I just dont get the appeal of baggers. I really dont. When I see one coming down the road Im not interested. However, when I see someone coming down the road with a stipped down big twin, hands high, feet out, I'm looking hard to see what he's (or she) is riding.

But each to his own. Maybe when Im old and grey Ill go with a bagger (but I can't see it!)

Good luck mate!
