Default Footpeg spring washers

Anyone ever heard of Stainless footpeg spring washers to replace stock.
If so, where to get 'em.

Those are actually called "undulated washers". Might make it easier for you to search your local hardware store and their stainless section.

Home Depot sells SS lock washers if that's the style you mean.

I only know that because at age 10 or so, my dad taught me how to repair these electric shears we used at his textile mill. The actual motor had one of those type washers on top and one on bottom. I was also put in charge of spare parts inventory.

I just did a quick google search and although "undulated washer" brought up similar photos, "spring washer" also brought up more...

A style shear similar to what I learned to fix:

Spaceblue...they aren't lock washers at all. Curved washers to put tension on the footpegs to hold them in the up position when not in use.

I haven't been able to find any with the same style as the OEM that have a straight edge on part of it. If i buy the round ones, I will have to find a way of slicing off part of it.

A small file, emery cloth, a sander, tin snips...take your pick.

Or, you could just bend it underneath the mount out of sight.
