Helmet locks?

Helmet locks?
I want a way to lock my helmet to my Dyna. I looked at the HD uni-fit lock, but was told that it rattles, it's made more for engine guards and doesn't quite fit the frame tubing, and it wrecks paint if you ever want to take it off.
I heard that pistol cable locks (actual pistol, as in go to the gun shop) work well.
My old metric had one built in. What's everyone using (if anything) to lock their helmets?
Thanks.

Mostly I don't worry about it, but when I go to rallys out of state I might lock the helmet. I use a small cable lock, looks like this:

You can find them at Target, WalMart, etc., relatively inexpensive, durable, and (as far as I've seen) pretty reliable. I lock the helmet to the luggage rack or handlebars.
There was another good idea on another thread that most guys thought was pretty amusing yet reliable - this guy used a set of handcuffs to lock his helmet to his bike. Definitely a different look! (Oops - I see Stomper beat me to it...sorry.)
Whatever works for you...

I recently had my custom pinstriped biltwell stolen. I went to the hardware store and bought a packet of matching padlocks. Not the giant padlocks, and bigger than those silly tiny ones. They hang on my passenger foot peg when not in use so you really can't see them, and even if they did rattle going down the road, you would never ever know it. I use them to padlock the helmets threw the D-Rings to the sissy bar. But in reality you could padlock the helmets D-Rings to any loop on the bike. And theres no way to steal them and wind up with usable helmets once they are secured with padlocks threw the rings.
