One question that's probably been beat to death. OK I know (from reading here) that to remove my tank emblems that I need to warm them up with a hair dryer and use waxed dental floss or a plastic knife. My biggest concern/ question is it ok to use WD-40 or 3M adhesive remover on black denim?..or should I use something else?

 

if you're talking about removing the tank emblems there really won't be adhesive left over...at least there wasn't on my black denim. it isn't the same stuff as the reflectors. just heat and use the fishing line or whatever to pull the very edge while you keep heating it (don't "saw" through it) and it will come off cleanly. a little windex afterwords should do the trick if necessary.
