Default back to stock=need mufflers

hey yall, been on this forum a while ,heres one you dont hear a lot-in preperation of trading my bike in i removed the fuel pak, muffs,se aircleaner ect.deal fell in on trade in[wasnt ready to eat 4800.in neg equity]so im keepin the dyna for a while longer,But im kinda digging the way the bike sounds and feels almost back to stock!reminds me of why i bought it in the first place-i left the xieds on,so what is the quietest aftermarket exhaust i can put on other than screaming eagles, the stockers are drilled which is a good sound to me but the restriction in the mufflers is still building up heat on my right leg[forgot about that from stock]

I've never heard or heard of any aftermarket slip-ons that are "quiet," i.e., in the same range as stock or the street legal Screamin' Eagle muffs.

My stock mufflers always made me think my bike sounded like the Jetson-mobile.

The problem with stock muffs is that they don't sound "good" to US while we are riding the bike. However, while they are not loud by any stretch, stock muffs on a TC96 do have a pretty good sound if you're a bystander listening to the bike riding by. Check out this vid of a stock Fat Bob for an example (watch and listen to the whole thing, not just the first few seconds):

I think the fat bob 2-1-2 exhaust falls out of that range. Listen to a 2-2 stock exhaust dyna or any harley for that matter. Jetson-mobile I tell ya.

I have the Rush pipes with 1.5" baffles and they are a little louder than stock. The sound is "growlier" than stock as well. I put in the 1.5's after the 2.0" which were just too loud after awhile.

The tiltle almost sounds like you were looking for stock pipes which was going to get you a lot of resposes to offer theirs, me first in line, lol.

The stock bike in the video above sounds WEAK to me. I prefer aftermarket.
