I have one and haven't had any oil leak any where. I did have a SE high flow air filter prior and it did leak oil, especially when I would have kick back. I haven't seen any of that with this one though. As for the rain... no issues if you keep the rain sock on it. I ride mine in all weather so keep the sock on it... it doesn't look bad so I don't have any issues with it...

The oil comes from the Blo-by. It is ran into the filter on the stock set-up. Different breathers have different set-ups.

I have the Heavy Breather and it has small compartments to catch the blo-by and I have never had any come out on the motor.

It does fine in the rain. I have a rain sock I throw on it to help.

We were in a place eating one day and it came pouring down rain for 1 hour and I didnt have the rain sock on it. When we left it was still raining and I forgot to put it on, we ran about 20 miles to another stop were I put on the rain sock. We then ran 100 miles home in the rain and the only issue was if you hammered the gas it would bog down from sucking in water.

Filter was as soaked as it could get that day.
