Yea, I rode her around the neighborhood for abit to get used to it and make sure the front brake was working ok. It was sketchy at first the added weight makes for a much different ride to say the least.
Once I got used to it i did about 50 miles and its like I never changed anything.

The thing I can't stand about springers is the added weight. A softail springer is so heavy to push around it feels heavier than an Ultra Classic. The flop of the front end doesn't go away as speed increases either, making for a bike I can't relax on while riding.

Sorry, i just don't get why you would put possibly the worse handling front end on a Dyna. I have owned a springer softail...so i know from experience. People on the forum struggle to make their bikes handle and perform to their peak potential....
If you like it, that is all that matters, but I just don't get it from a performance or appearance perspective.

Man, I just don't get why you would buy a Harley. Possibly the slowest, least technologically advanced, worst handleing, lowest powered motorcycle on the market today. The guys with the Goldwings and Hayabusa's struggle to get the last bit of technology and performance out of their bikes, but at least they start with a great platform. You Harley guys just don't get it. Hummmm, sound familiar???
Touche'......Good point.
