Default 6 speed indicator light

My 6 speed indicator light in my gauge dosent work. Im thinkin that when my wiring was extended thats when the problem happened, but I dont know how this light works. Anyone have any ideas or what could cause this?

i'm pretty sure that this light is dependent on the gearing, the ECM calculates in/out tranny speed and if it matches a certain ratio it lights up tough some digital command, no wiring involved.

at least in my 2009, since when I pull the clutch it goes out.

have you changed your primary ratio?

yeah check your primary ratio doesn't need much of a change for it to miss it (issue with the new helical gears) you running a after market tuner?

with TTS had to change (decrease) the primary ratio just slightly to get the 6th gear light working. don't know anything about SEST but if it has that setting look there first.
