Sorry to resurrect a dead thread here but im curious to know whether you used a clear coat to cover the Satin black or whether you just applied the satin black and left it at that?

Smashing job by the way, bike looks amazing!

Looks great! I have been spray painting my chome engine parts semi-gloss black as well as everything else that is chome (of course I sand it first). The guys at the Harley shop said that it looks like I spent money buying all the OEM black parts.
