advise with vehicle alignment
Hi All,
If anyone has done full vehicle alignment please tell me if Ive got the basics as I plan on doing it tomorrow.
1. make sure steering bearings adjusted ok.
2. check and adjust if required rear wheel/belt alignment
3. lift rear wheel, making sure bike is level
4. turn front wheel until front disc is 90 degrees upright with inclinometer.
5. remove torsion bolt from bracket beside horn and it should screw in easy without pushing sideways on engine.
6.check rear wheel disc is parrallel with front and if not adjust with torsion bar.
7. loosen all four bolts on front and rear engine mounts and start engine for 5 seconds.
8. torque engine mount bolts starting with mount to engine.
9. test ride.
Have I missed anything or is it all the wrong way to do this.
Many thanks for your advise
Jeff
