Default Lower you front fender on your fatbob?

Has anyone drilled new holes and lowered their front fender? I'd like to see pictures (and specs) if you have them. Also do you think it effects the performance, ride or safety in any way?
Thanks in advance,
Tim

well... i have a st bob wiht a fat bob front fender on it, the fender is slammed to the tire... here is how i did it

ext cord, ran that on the tire and taped it there... then layed the fender on the tire, went though the support holes and marked it, then ran a pilot hole, drilled it out... cut off the excess and put it on... looks much better hugging the tire, i also moved it back about 2 inches so it curves the tire more... if you use some tape on the painted area you are going to drill though you do not have to worry about paint chipping or scratching your fender up durring mock up... better safe then sorry

If you do drill through, I have heard you can use nail polish on the holes as a rust inhibitor.
