Default La Pera seat

Looking to replace the stock seat on my '10 WG and saw a La Pera solo on a WG at a local hangout. Looked good and I like the style but the owner said it was uncomfortable except for short rides. I said that it couldn't be any worse than the stock seat which puts my rear to sleep in about 30 minutes. I'm 6'2" so I set right on the seat ridge. Anyone running a Pera solo and how do you like it?

I've been happy with the Lepera Silhouette solo. I like the minimalist look of it. That being said, if I'm gonna do a seriously long road trip I'll buy something else for just the long rides as there are definitely more comfortable seats out there. BTW: I'm 6' tall and am good for about 300 mi.s a day.

Here's a pic of when I first put it on...

I have an '08 FXDWG and love the stock seat, really. It looks alright but I soon purchased the Silhouette and it drastically changed the look of the bike for the better I might ad, but I find it hard, (go figure, look at it, how can it be comfy?), and only good for around town hops, barely.

I love my bare bones seat. I can ride for a couple hours with no problems.

Couple of hours sound about right for me as well. I'm not planning to do any long trips on my WG, but appreciate all the replys. Will decide today but will probably go the with solo or maybe the bare bones?

I love my Silhouette seat. I'd want something with more padding for all-day riding but a few hours is no problem. It's also a very well-made seat, I'm definitely happy with the quality for the price.
