Default Lower Risers On My Wide Glide

Hello, I am going for a Low and Long look on my wide glide. IMO I think the handle bars would look better a little lower. I like the stock handlebars on my bike and think just getting some lower risers will do the trick.

I have been searching but can't seem to find any risers in black that will work on my bike. I mesured my stock risers and at the center of the clamp they measured 4" at the base of the handlebars they measured 3.5" which lenght should I go by? I think 3" risers would do the trick.

Thanks for any help and info.

Yep, stock bars with Fatboy risers cause I just didn't like the look or the height of the oem ones.

Thanks for the info,

Did you turn the bars any when you installed the shorter risers or are they in the same position?

The bars just look different, that's why I ask.

Thanks again.

Well, after a while looking at my bike. I think I would be happier with a different handle bar.

I want a bar that is straight with very little pull back.

Bags are stock Harley item, don't have the part number but are listed in catalog. They are not quick release however as imho that pushes the bags too far wide side to side. I never saw any reason to make them quick release anyway as I always need the storage for jacket, chaps, clear shield for my full face helmet ect. As far as the risers go, I just didn't like the higher stock ones, the bars are just adjusted to fit my wrist and pulled a little further forward which is better for my long arms.

Lhg, one thing you may not be thinking about is if you install shorter risers when you go full left/right your turn signals may contact your tank. Something to keep in mind.
