If he's looking at a straight bar, like a drag bar, he should be fine in the clearance department. I'm not sure what size bars come on the wideglide, but the fatboy risers will only work if he has 1.25 bars.

 

That isn't entirely true. Wild1 sells a 1" to 1.25" adapter. I've used it. It's two pieces that fit around the 1" section of the bars to build them up to 1.25".

 

Yup, I just didn't want him to assume he could by some risers and be good to go.
