Default You Win Security System

Ok so here's the deal. I just had my bike shipped across the country and installed a new battery on the receiving end. I have been doing some digging and found the procedure to reset my security pin. I reset the pin and turned the ign. off to save the new pin. When I put in the new pin the security system continues to activate. The system also activates continuously with the key fob in vicinity of the bike. I checked the fuses and the key fob receiver (it's the slender unit that says delphi on it I'm guessing). Any ideas would be great.

It's an 07 Street Bob that "really" needs to be ridden...

Thanks in advanced guys.

Try resetting the pin number again.

tried that and it still doesn't seem to be working...I'll try it one more time. Anyone know if I just remove the receiver portion from the HFSM if the bike will start?

I think the next time she's down for a while I'm going to pull all the wire/computer crap off this bike.

well it's working now. I checked the service manual and one of the troubleshooting steps was to attempt to "reset" the HFSM. The only way I could think to do that was to pull the module out, turn it upside down and disconnect it. Plugged it back in and put everything back together and we're in business.
