Default S&S Performance Slip ons

G'day from Oz

Was wondering if anyone has put S&S performance slip ons on their 06 Dyna.

As everyone's aware, can no longer get SEIIs. Dealer has told me the S&S performance slip ons are just as good - for both performance and noise (as loud as SEIIs).

I'm about to get the Stage 1 kit on the Bob and am mostly looking for the right sound.

Cheers

G'day mate,
I'm in Brisbane, a mate got the S&S's and they are just a little louder than SE11's, when I was pricing mufflers a dealer who seemed to know what he was talking about said that the SE's have stainless steel baffling and the S&S product does not. I have not checked it out , but maybe you should before buying.
I have torque mufflers and they sound more mellow.

I had a set of the S&S 's on my bob . Sounded great and looked good too . they do have a fiberglass wrapping around the baffle , that was a good thing in my book , it came off real quick

Why not go with Cycle Shacks? Cheaper by far, all steel baffles, and nothing outperforms them.

I've the kit S&S slip-on and air filter. Very good for sound and look. In Italy (international models have not O2) I can use without download.

Got the S&S's on my 06 Street Bob.
I think they're just a bit too loud.
They make my ears hurt after a ride.
Looking for a way to muffle them a little more
Any idea's??
