Arrow Leather saddle bag question

I search this topic and did not find the answer. Is there a locking system to lock a leather saddle bag shut? I'm not interested in locking the bag to the bike. It seems secure and difficult to remove but I want to lock the contents in one or both sides. Currently anything valuable come with me.

Ummm...What good would it do to lock a leather bag? Leather can be cut open fairly easy. I know of no way to secure anything in a leather bag.

That depends on the bags, I had a set of leather backs that locked to the bike, and then had locks to keep the bags closed. I have seen online, eBay I think, a latch cover that locked. I would search there.

Here is a link to HD's site. This is a universal locking kit for leather bags...

Here's one solution, not pretty but guess it might do the trick.

Here's how I installed locks on my bags. I wanted a lock to secure my helmet so I bought a 4 lock set, some Chicago bolts, stainless anchors and desk drawer strikes. I know if someone wants to cut through the leather nothing will stop them but I feel better keeping my leather jacket and cigars under lock and key.

Very clean job. I've never considered installing locks, but this idea is just too sano to overlook.

Its very cheap as well, the whole project cost about $20. give or take a few dollars. I keep the locks inside the bags hanging on a couple of clips and it works good enough to keep the honest folks honest.
