Default 07 Street Bob with 180 rear - have to move turn signals?

I was ordering the 180mm rear tire kit for my 07 bob and they told me its another extra hour labor if my turn signals are not rerouted to the license plate already. said its because the stock turn signals wont fit with the fatter tire. is this correct?

makes sense - check where the wires come out and you'll see why they need to be relocated. Should be an easy job to do it yourself though if you want to save some money

Default Nope

No man, Not True.
The extra hour they are charging you is for installing the new wire holders for the inner fender. Just look under your fender and you will see what I am talking about. The stock turn signals will remain in original location. Here is a link. read this

Default 180 on a FXDB

I installed the Pirelli Night Dragon 180 on my 06 Bob with "0" alterations and everything clears with ease. It is actually a bit taller and lets me lean into it noticeably more.

thanks for all the help fellas. i ended up getting a quote from them (harley, where I bought the bike) and called a couple places around me to see if anyone wanted to do it cheaper if I bought the parts and brought my bike. nobody wanted to, so i went to harley, and they ended up charging me 170 bucks more than they quoted me. my bike will never see that place again.

I went to J&P today to look at 180 for rear and both guys I talked to said that tire is too big for the 4.5 rim and shouldn't be done without changing rim as well. is this true?
