Default Relocating Turn Signals on Superglide Custom

I have come to the understanding that I will have to relocate my turn signals for saddlebags. The problem is I do not like the Harley Tail light relocation kit. Does anyone have any tail lights where I can also have them function as turn signals or used something better than the stock Harley Relocation kit.

I would really appreciate it and pictures if you have any.

Thanks

Try looking at greatbikegear.com for their relocation kit.

You can also buy shorter standoffs for the turn signals and tuck them in closer to the plate. I'll see if I can get a picture of mine sometime today so you can see the difference the standoffs that I got are an inch shorter.

Default rear turn-signals

Depends on which bags you're putting on. My leather throw-over bags fit OK w/ the stock turn-signals.

I'm working out the installation of "police" hard bags on my Super Glide Custom, so have ordered the short light-bar off a bagger:

No doubt it'll require some kind of adaptation to make it fit the Dyna rear fender, but I'm sure it'll clear the bags OK. It's part # 68615-04; ordered from House of Harley on eBay ($128). I really didn't want to go to LED or some Mickey Mouse non-Harley item, but there are lots of other ways to go.

Let us know what you come up with.

Here's an install video of the one from Saddlebag World. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UkgOp...layer_embedded

Same company that does the one pictured at the top of the thread. I just like this model better.

The other one looks fat to me

+1. I used this with the shorter standoffs even though I'm not running bags. Picked up a couple of block off plates from HD to cover the tear-drop recess on the strut covers and bolted them on with a chrome acorn nut on the outside.

Check Fox Creeks Low Rider bags. No relo kit needed.

Where would you get the shorter standoffs?

I'm thinking that if I can tuck my rear turn signals in closer, I might not have to re-locate them.
