Default Oil Change

Still a bit new to HD's - time to do the 1K service and wondering if there is a preferred method to change fluids.......on the jiffy stand, work stand or doesn't matter?

I prefer on the jiffy stand and I will sit the bike up with the drain plugs pulled to get some more to drain out.

I prefer it in the air on my J&S jack. I did the first 2 oil changes without it - but never again...

PS - you check tranny oil with the bike level - motor oil on the jiffy stand.

Standing up works best for me.
