You don't have to use the spacers if you modify the Fat Bob bracket by sanding down the boss flush to the other two mounting holes on the back side. It gives a much cleaner look when mounted and enables the exhaust to be mounted closer to the bike. I love the look and sound of the exhaust on my Low Rider.

I don't have the tools to sand it down flush. And with the way I have it now you'll only notice it if I point it out. I'm going to paint the spacers black and then they'll be hidden from plain sight. Only thing I hate right now's is the lack of noise! LOL I feel like I'm riding a metric bike! Lol
