Default build pics of my front and rear fat wheeled Street Bob

I have posted shot before of my bob and the work that is happening as i type - the front end is out of the machine shop and has been dry built prior to going to the powder coaters - black lowers, black triple trees and black tube covers. Dont know what to do about light go for a smaller unit or go for a fatboy unit powder coated black and a black lense cover. Any way here is the history of the build starting with the original shots

the starting point (2006 Streetbob)

rear end chopped off

the rear wheel in place (200/55/18 Avon Fat Freddie)

traditional pan seat

the tail light fitted (custom mount fitted directly to swing arm)

back end fully mounted (no struts floating rear guard)

Triple trees in the shop (work in progress)

the forks assembled and in the bick (front shot) Standard SB headlight - still thinking of changing the bars - 1" risers and narrow drag bars. Front wheel 200/55/18

the front end continued (really nice job) thanks to KM Custom Engineering in Gloucester in the UK run by a great guy called Keith and a team of old skool engineers all ride bike full time

next step of the the powder coaters for a quick covering of satin black

finally a distant memory (some times I wonder am I doing the right thing)

as more pics turn up i will post them - as I have had lots of inspiration from the bikes on this site especially BOSKEN

it is a Lepera - bought of ebay for £30 bargain much better then the big old single seat and bump pad for the wife. Although she says it ain't comfy for long rides - lucky she has he own bike a 2006 Bonneville

Looks great! Like the custom triple trees, but why? Are they wider than the stock 49mm wide glide?

I was thinking the same. How about a fat bob front end?

Can't beat having custom job though--if you access to trusted shop.

BTW--some of the best Harley's I've seen have been in England. Seems that most of the bikes Ive seen over there have had some great mods done. Wonder if the more difficult access to HD's in UK filters out the conservative riders (to put it in gentle terms )
