Bikeless but not going anywhere

Greg, sorry to see you give up your skoot. You have good taste and an eye for customizing. You did your bike just right...not too much, not too little.
I know exactly where you are coming from having raised (and still raising) two kids who play sports. I am fortunate that my son is going to be 18 in less than 2 weeks and he rides with me and my daughter loves to ride too.
I'm sure you'll be back with another great ride. You either have the bug or you don't, and you my friend, have it.

Sucks you had to get rid of it but welcome to the forum VT 1984.
I understand the time thing. I have a 8 and 5 year old and they run me all the time. Luckily I am self employed and get done early in the day. This gives me alot of time to ride while the kids are at school.

I think the bike is in good hands with Phil. He's a good guy with a lot of bike experience and knowledge and was very patient with me during the purchase process and still is being patient (we're now waiting on the title to come back from HD).
Ironically, I just traded out the standard forward controls not long ago and now Phil really needs to trade back to standards. So, if anyone can help him out, give him a shout.
Phil, if you ever need anything powdercoated, Joe (JRK) is your man. And if you need any help or advice, all of these guys are awesome. Bberck has helped me several times and you can tell from his bike, we have similar tastes. Jake has been great as well as have many others around here.
As I said, I'm not going anywhere. Without a bike, I may not be around quite as often or be as needy when I am around, but I'll definitely be checking in.
Maybe someday Phil will decide he wants something else and I'll be able to bring my old scoot back home in improved style.
