I made the same choice. Haven't regretted it.

I did the same thing - I sold my Sporty in the spring after I purchased my Street Bob. The Sporty is great bike, but darn, my SB is a huge step up for ride and power. Love it.

Got mine last year as well, rode it 16K miles so far and loving every mile of it. Gold Wing's collecting dust in the garage but wife loves it so I get to keep both.

For my 1st anniversary gift to my FXDC, we're scheduled in 8 days for a complete 103" up grade with cams, new pipes, ac, tune, dyno and more chrome. I think this will bring her up to at least a stage 2 if not stage 3 from stock.

Ride safe and make her YOURS!

Default Superglide

Barring the hard bags, it looks just about like mine. Much cleaner, however.
I rode a 68 Triumph for many years, pulled it down for a redo when my wife bought me a Thruxton (Hinckley) Triumph. That was retired for the 07 black Dyna. I seem to have forgotten where I put the Thruxton key and the old Triumph project hasn't gotten very far, beyond acquiring some cool parts.
