Engine guard

I am looking at getting an engine guard for my 2010 FXDC. I have found some that say they fit 91-10, and some say they only fit 91-05.

Does anyone know if one from an earlier bike, like an 01 or 02 dyna, would fit my 10? Are the mounting holes any different on the different year frames/guards?
