Default VROD Brembo caliper fit?

I have decided it's time to do something about my brakes and I would like to do the VROD Brembo mod. I've only seen it on Superglides with the cast wheel. Is there any reason it wouldn't work on a spoke wheel since it has a different rotor. I can't see why it would matter because you can switch between the cast and spoke wheels with the stock caliper. Is there something I am missing? Also, is there anything else besides the caliper I would need to do this. I also want to go to a braided stainless brake line.

I run the whole vrod front end ala Howard. Should just be the brembo and a 200mm rotor. no reason to change master cylinder as you are not running duals.

I did the Brembo VROD caliper on my '07 Superglide and changed to the braided brake line. Harley brakes are adequate at best and I'm not sure this is much of a fix.

I just slid the V-rod 49mm tubes into my triple clamps, used the V-rod front wheel (powdered 10% gloss) Brembos, 11/16th master cylinder, and Street Glide brake line. Super two finger stopper. I found all the V-rod parts on Craigs List.

If you put Brembo calipers on a 2006 ~ Current Dyna, weather it be a Street Bob with one caliper or a FatBob, this is what is going to happen because the mounting tabs were moved up to accommodate a 300 mm rotor(s).

Think about it: Twin cam Nissin calipers on 11 1/2" rotors and than a 300 mm rotor.

Thought #2: The baggers use the same part # sliders with the same mounting (hence the same part #) which use to have the very same twin cam Nissins. They changed in 2008 to a Brembo, the same calipers on a later model V-Rod. The Brembos have an additional length in the mounting to accommodate the larger 300 mm rotors.

The way Harley got the use of the same Twin Cam caliper to work on both applications 11 1/2" V/S 300 mm (larger) is by moving up the caliper mount on the sliders on the 2006 ~current Dynas.

This is (BELOW) what you would see by installing a Brembo Dresser/V-Rod caliper on a 2006 ~ current Dyna including Fat Bob.

Look at the pads and the rotor, what do you see what is wrong?

Great set-up,did you leave the lowers the stock length or did you add an internal spacer.
I've avoided this because I understood the V-Rod lowers lowered the front end.
Also is the speedo reading out because of the different wheel/tyre combo.
Thanks.

Howard, wouldn't it just be as simple as getting (making?) a larger diameter rotor? Wouldn't this increase in diameter also improve the calipers lever ratio and thus brake performance as well?
