Glad you're ok. Let them fix the bike. A friend of mine is Chief Mechanic at the local HD, and I know he goes over it just looking for something to be wrong even if it wasn't dumped.

The main thing is you're ok. Let them fix the bike and if it don't feel right let them deal with it. The main thong is you are good to still ride.

How does it work here if your bike is totalled?

In England I got hit by a car (literally) and the car ran over my bike.
Of course, bike was totalled. Anyway, insurance paid out for the value of the bike--not enough to replace it though. But, they never came to pick the bike up, even when I called them and told them to get it since it was taking up room. After a year I gave up and sold the smashed up bike as a project bike.
