good gasket(only 1) on the filter. the primary was low the eng is filled to the top and i only put 3qt into the eng. xmsn is still full and good. now the filler for the eng is just one of then push on caps with a dip stick. oil is coming from left side of bike. didnt know if the crank case vent was on the left side. i thought the vent was rerouted into the air cleaner.

You say leaking from filler? is it filler or filter? If it is filler maybe you overfilled it. Double check the dipstick to make sure you are not over the upper line. If it is the filter did you replace the filter and overtighten or not tighten enough? Could be a bad filter gasket but probably was either not tightened enough or overtightened. Why are the other two low? did you change the oil in them as well? if you drained all three you need to add oil to all three. Even if they were all leaking into one it would probably not cause to overflow the filler.

You're a little hard to follow... sorry...

Lets clarify...

#1 - You've changed all 3 fluids

#2 - You opened all three drain plugs and dropped all your oils (Transmission, Primary, and Crankcase)

#3 - You removed and replaced the old oil filter

#4 - You refilled the primary with 1 quart of oil, and refilled the transmission with one quart of oil

#5 - You refilled the engine with 3 quarts of oil

#6 - By Quart you mean this size , not this size (1 Gallon!) (sorry, but people have done this before)

#7 - Now oil is at the top of the crankcase (engine) fill hole? and leaking out of the fill hole? you're calling this "Filler"... do you mean Filler or is it leaking from the oil Filter???

Is this correct so far?

Did you verify crankcase oil came out when you drained it, somewhere in the neighborhood of 3 quarts?

I think what he did that also almost happen to me i unscrewed the primary bolt oil drain plug first thinking it was for the motor but luckily i caught it before i added any motor oil , the photo in the owners manual was a little confusing but now i know what is what and where for the next time ! Just a note he does not mention he drained the tranny plug which does look like it's under the motor , he needs to drain all 3 plugs take off filter and start all over ....
