Default Just lowered 2010 street bob 1.75 inch

So i felt better enough to finaly install the 1.75 tamarack lowering block in rear.....i tested it for a few miles down the road and no bottoming at all......i even hit a few pot holes in the driveway that u use to bang on every so offten with stock settings on springs.....after 1.75 block and adjusted the springs to max i have no bottoming yet. 1st pic is before and the other 2 are after the lowering blocks.

I have an 08 with the lowering blocks and I usually keep my shocks at the lowest level. Rarely bottom out. Only if I hit something I didnt see. I weigh 205.
Looks much better. Kickass.

Ya i though about leaveing them at the lower setting but i ride 2 up sometimes with the girlfriend, i dont wanna take the chance on bottoming out so i turned them all the way up and tested it, and it rides great cant even tell much difference, looks great imo.

Ya i went rideing today 2 up to test it out, and after getting back i checked my belt, fender and all for rubbing/hitting marks and found none. I do understand that lowering it still increases my chance of doing so,but normal rideing and a few holes i'll be ok. The ride is actually better to me now that its lower,i dont have as much floating in the rear as i did. I didnt notice before but my springs were set to the softest possible when i purchased it (too soft).I've set the springs to max load and removed the belt guard thou just in case =)......Oh and i absoulutly LOVE the look now!!

Are you losing much lean angle with the lowering kits? I like the look but I do scrape my pegs once in a while already.

Not that ive noticed, i actually turned it sharper today then i ever have and kinda squinted when i did expecting to hear the pegs draging but thankfully it didnt drag at all.....i dont know how much lower u can lay these things over without be dangerous but i layed it pretty far. Ive had sport bikes for years and i know i layed the harley over about as far as i can without risking it tiping over, kinda spoked me afterwards, i though to myself i shouldnt do that again lol.

Also i didnt drop the front at all so the pegs might not have droped as low as if i did a complete front and rear drop. Just noticed you said you already scrap a lil....LOL man u must have ***** cause it spooked me...weather it was the lean angle or the fact that i was 2 up at the time.....ya...i dont think ill be pushing it. Im to worried about keeping it shinny and scratch free (myself included).

I have progressive springs up front and the heavy spring shocks rear but it still scrapes a little once in a while. For me it was Kawi Triples in the 70's then a new Ninja in 84ZX900,89ZX10 and 2000ZX12R. I've dragged a few pegs.
