Is $1550 below MSRP a good deal for 2010 FXDC?

I just picked up a Street glide. Black with ABS. They charged me $18,380 for the bike plus tax and registration plus my accessories which they gave me a 15%-20% discount on. Now this is New York we are talking about and they barely give anything off on Harleys. They didnt charge me prep. All I did was go to another dealer who gave me that price and I told the dealer next to match it and he did. The bike was supposed to be $18,999 + $845 + $500 prep + $380 freight = $20,724 and I got it for $18,380. I saved $2,344.00. Tell them to scrub the prep and keep their $200 credit. What if you want to buy after market stuff online. Why give the dealer extra money.

Good to here someone else thinks so. After having for a bit now I'd probably pay msrp cuz i love it. Plan to take advantage of the 90 day 15% discount on everything threw the dealer and get my V&H big shots, SE heavy breather, SERT, and flush mount gas cap/gauge to kick off the mods this next couple weeks.

i know that stuff is pure profit that is why i didn't pay it. but also i live in northern illinois and wanted my bike early summer to enjoy and the wide glide for '11 is pretty unchanged
