Default front axle spacers, don't look right???HELP

Put my new front tire on, put the thing back together as the Service manual said, but the right side spacer looks as if it has an 1/8 in space between it and the right fork???Does the notch on the spacer have to go a certin way, I used the drill bit in the axle hole and torqued everything to spec, it just doesn't look right....HELP !!Right side when sitting on the bike

Well, is the rotor lined up in the center of the caliper? Can you grab the spacer and spin it on the the axle, if not then I wouldn't worry about it.

I have the same little space, it is meant to be there. If you suck the fork in to take up that space your forks will stick and ride like a rock, YES, I learned this the hard way.

I don't know what year Dyna you have, but looking at the 09 parts manual it shows the same spacer for each side for all models except the Fat Bob.
In other words... your two spacers should be the same size... unless you have a Fat Bob.

My spacers are not the same, one is 1/8 inch wider. Whats up with that?

Not sure I understand the question. Doesn't it simply mean they are not interchangeable left and right side?

Did you think that all bikes have the same size spacers on both sides of the wheel?
