FXD doesn't have much compression, rear cyl...

Looks to me like the valve is just too small ... you can see light all the way around it around the valve seat ... (and the other valve is too BIG) LOL!
Hmmmm ... looks like whoever reassembled the head switched the valves ... hahahaha ....
*** the flashlight is being shone in through the intake port ... that port should have the larger of the two valves ... but, since whoever reassembled the heads switched the valves (and didn't notice it) the valve is too small to reach the valve seat (and hence to seal the compression chamber) ... also notice the larger (intake) valve is in the other (exhaust) port ... therefore no compression ...
I'd like to hear that explanation, too ....
[Had to puzzle over the photos for a minute before it dawned on me ...]

Someone with tools.
Good guess, wrong but good guess.
You could call it a crack, lol.
Actually I took the spark plug out to run a comp check and didn't bother to put it back in. Note the one that's still there is new, I guess he thought it just needed new plugs, lol.
BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!! BUT, you nailed it!
The Exhaust valve is actually in the intake port and the intake valve is in the the exhaust port.
things that make you go mmmmmmmmm, rotflol!!!

The pic is in two dimensions, so it doesn't leap out at you. Plus, I wouldn't even ever, ever consider somebody being that dense.
I figured, leaving a spark plug out would have been about as stupid as humanly possible. I should have known better.
The outlook for the survival of the species isn't as good as I had once thought.
